Deep and Extreme Cleaning
Unfortunately, in some cases, an apartment unit or household can become so dirty and cluttered that extreme cleaning is the only solution. This can occur if a person lives alone for many years without help. It can also happen if a person has numerous pets and does not clean animal feces. Years of grime, animal debris, rotten food, mold, and insect infestations can create an overwhelming cleaning job. The extent of the mess can destroy hardwood floors, carpets, and finishes. It takes a dedicated team to transform this hazardous environment into a clean and inviting living space. We are prepared to take on this task.
Our Extreme Clean Team
Our fully trained and insured extreme cleaners can tackle almost anything. Are you a landlord with a property that has been wrecked? Have you had squatters? messy tenants, drug users? Have you got animal feces covering the floor? Does your property have that strong smell of urine and ammonia due to animals? Just give us a call and we’ll provide a very competitive quote.
Our more practical services involve the more typical lifting and shifting work that you would probably expect of Clearance and Cleanup, however, there are many other facilities that we offer aside from large clearance operations. One of the most varied parts of our job is the deep cleaning service. We have undertaken many different jobs, and trust us, every single one is a new experience for us. We should note that during deep cleans we have to be extremely careful, as we put ourselves at risk. We deal with hazardous materials regularly, and so take the necessary precautions.
Safety First
The priority for us is safety when it comes to deep and extreme cleans. We do everything possible to ensure the safety of our team when executing the work and the state of the property after we've finished so that it can be used safely again. If you think we may be able to help, call us today

Mould Cleaning Service in Cork
How to prevent black mould?
In an ideal world, the best way to tackle black spot mould is to prevent it from appearing in the first place. All of the following can reduce condensation which is the most common cause of black mould growth.
- Opening windows and doors often will prevent moisture from being trapped, allowing your home to ventilate more efficiently.
- When using showers or baths, keep the windows open and the extractor fans turned on. Doors should be kept closed for a period after the shower to allow the excess moisture to escape.
- Keep lids on pots and pans and extractor fans turned on while cooking.
- Where possible, dry clothes outside. Alternatively, dry clothes using a tumble dryer or in a closed room with the window open.

How Does Mould Grow?
Eliminating food for mould to grow on can also be difficult. Minute particles of skin, dirt or dust can provide sufficient food for mould to grow in, even in the most unlikely places.
Mould On Windows
Windows, for example, don’t appear to have anything smeared on them, but mould can still grow there. However, any smears of a biological nature (e.g. handprints, food splatters) should be cleaned off as soon as possible before they have time to grow moulds.
Eliminating moisture is a big factor in preventing mould and is much easier to achieve. Window condensation is particularly prone to growing mould if it is allowed to settle or pool.
Reasons For Mould Growth
Mould (mildew) can also grow in places with poor ventilation and rising dampness combined. Some older houses (especially those with wooden flooring) can have particular problems with rising dampness, but fortunately, they also have good ventilation. Problems with mould and rising dampness occur when air is not allowed to circulate in or around items – mildew can often occur on stored items that get damp but can’t breathe (e.g. if wrapped in plastic or packed tightly into a container – my grandmother accidentally ruined some vintage clothing and books this way). Bathrooms are also prone to moulding. An extractor fan – or an open window – to allow steam and dampness to escape is vital.
